Raisa lived living in Los Angeles with her parents. Irlanda Almendarez is her sibling As is Italia Almendarez. Her name is her first, Francia, is Italian meaning France. Italia and Irlanda are two Italian names that refer to Italy. Her mother, Virginia Almendarez has Mexican roots while her father, Renan, has roots in Honduras. Renan switched his last name to Cucuy just after Francia's birth. Renan is a popular radio host and is one of the top Latino DJs in Los Angeles. Francia as well as her two sisters were raised in the home of a well-known father. She can speak both Spanish as well as English. Francia started taking dance classes in the age of five. There was no restriction regarding the kind of dances which was taught. Every dance form was included, from tap dancing to Polynesian along with hip-hop. She was a regular participant in dancing classes that were at an advanced level. Her classes were at an Hollywood dancing studio. Francia Raisa is a LA-based actress who is bilingual and from the first generation of Mexican descent as well as Honduran roots, is born and was raised. Francia at the age of 17 when she first began her acting career in Hollywood in 2005, has been making quite an impact ever since. Since her debut she's become an influencer in the LatinX community.
