Mena Alexandra (born on 13 February 1979) is an actress and model hailing American-born model and actress. After beginning her career as a model, she transitioned into acting after appearing as a guest on 90's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. She debuted in film with the drama Nowhere which was released in 1997. Her performances as a character in American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated get the BAFTA Award - and American Pie and American Pie, which earned more attention from the public, she transitioned into bigger roles. She has appeared with the co-star of American Pie Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) as well as the lead character for the film Sugar & Spice (2001). She also starred in Spun the drama that was made by an independent studio and 2004's thriller Trauma. The actress was a part of HBO's drama series Six Feet Under. In 2004 she received an award for an Outstanding Cast member at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. She was also cast in the film version of Day of Dead, The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, and the film adaptation of The Garden of Eden.
